2007 Performers

2008 COMING SOON

Dr Feelgood

''Times change, but value doesn't...''

"You don't have to be a musician to play rock and roll, you've just got to love it and want to play it"

"People don't talk about an orchestra and say " Oh! are ya still playing that f#cking old Beethoven stuff?"

"Why should they say the same to us?" LEE BRILLEAUX 1976

DC. 79

No preaching, no lies. Just full-on Bon era AC/DC. Most tribute bands get a guitarist or two, an amp or two, and a singer who can sing. This band don't give a damn what you think about them, as long as you like the music. As long as they entertain you. As long as you walk home from the gig thinking "That's what Bon would've done" then DC/79 have done their job. Although if you love your work, it's not a job anyway...is it?

Monty Christo Blondes

Monte Cristo Blondes formed in early June 2006 and within 3 weeks had performed at a charity event in Warrington, at Newton Festival and on the WISH FM stage at St Helens Show. Consisting of 4 members, Monte Christo Blondes have blended 60's style rock 'n' roll music with modern indie music, producing many fantastic songs that range from one end of the spectrum to the other. They are not a band to stick to just one sound.

dBd

dBd formed in 2002 as four different personalities, united by the energy & passion of their music. Owing much of their sound to the aggression & ideals of bygone punk rock idols intertwined with modern sounds of punk. The four share the same goal, wanting people to drink, dance & sing along to their tunes whether it’s in a sweaty, cramped watering-hole or blasting from your CD player. To the media it’s anthemic punk rock. To dBd, it's our life. For the past five years dBd have toured frequently across the UK. Our shows range from tiny dives to huge stadiums and festivals and the band loves them all. In 2006 dBd completed a tour of the USA which included the infamous British Invasion 2k6, San Bernardino CA. The band has been invited to return to the USA for an extended tour so watch out for shows near you soon. dBd have played alongside some of the greatest bands in the world, it has been an honour to perform with Vice Squad, The Adicts, Sham 69, The Real McKenzie’s, The Varukers, The Dogs D'Amour, 999, Goldblade, Suicide Bid, King Blues and many more to mention, we have made some great friends along the way. dBd supported some top acts in 2007 including Madness, The Who and The Zutons at the Knowsley Hall Music Festival and the UK Subs at Rebellion (Wasted) festival.

Z List Tears

A quartet brought together by life troubles, passion for music and a travelling aura we call energy. Reviewed as sounding like "Red Hot Chilli Peppers moonlighting with Led Zeppelin" and the band that "pulled the infamous moony to our Liverpool and Manchester counterparts". With the bands great connection and cohesion after only a few months of Z-List Tears the band have already had record company interest from local label Dixilix Records and since that day not stopped progressing and receiving interest from a major label. Things are moving fast, so keep your ears open and PLAY LOUD!

Giant Root Attack

Songs that will blast repeatedly through your mind days weeks or even months later.

The Lancashire Hotpots

The Lancashire Hotpots are the comedy folk band sweeping the North West. With 21st Century classics such as 'Chippy Tea' and 'I Met a Girl on Myspace' their debut album 'Never Mind the Hotpots' has reached number one in the iTunes comedy album charts. Expect a raucous sing-along evening and wear your flat cap with pride.

Jill Fielding Band

The Jill Fielding Band play a wide range of Folk Rock, Americana, 50's & 60's and Irish.
