For 2008 we have Bad Manners as our headline act on Friday 18th July on stage 1 then Saturday 19th we have Slade on stage 1 as our headline act, we now have The Salford Jets headlining on Sunday 20th July performance times to be confirmed. We will also have The Merseyrock stage again this year.
Entrance Prices : for 2008
Friday : £5.00 6:00pm - 10:00pm
Saturday : £7.50 12noon - 10:00pm
Sunday : £2.00 12noon - 8:00pm (approx)
Children 14 and under will be allowed in free when accompanied by a paying adult.

It will also be possible to buy tickets at the main gate only, on the day.
All monies raised will go back into the festival fund for the following years event. Without these funds the festival would not happen, so please bear this in mind when you are trying to jump over the back fence!
If your still in the festival mood, why not get down to Probably the best "Live Music" venue in the World, and of course the Home of the Newton Music Festival: The Griffin Hotel where the music will continue on both Friday and Saturday night over the festival weekend.

Saturday...DC79 Probably the best AC-DC Bon Scott era tribute band ever.

Why not travel to the festival on the train
If you are coming from St. Helens or Widnes then why not use Lea Green station to get to Newton journey time is approx.10 mins, then it's only a 5 minute walk to the park. Further details can be found on www.thetrainline.co.uk
Booze!:
There are no bottles, cans or drugs allowed in the festival arena. You can
buy alcohol and soft drinks from the excellent Griffin beer tent when you enter
the festival arena and please use the toilets, not the bushes!
Parking:
There is limited parking outside Mesnes Park so we encourage you to come on
foot or by public transport. Check out our links to the rail and bus companies.
